Encouraging the local workforce is one of our core brand values. We work hard to support local garment manufacturers. Two of them have been with us from the start, over 10 years ago. This proximity also allows us to have better quality control, limit our environmental footprint and build honest and durable relationships with our partners.

Atelier Eclipse is a non-profit organization specialized in social reintegration through manufacturing. By entrusting Atelier Eclipse with a part of its production, FIG contributes to the growth of individuals who have gone through difficult situations, and fosters their employability. Sensitive to sustainability, FIG was drawn by the human and educative values of Atelier Eclipse, an organization that provides work, support as well as professional training to its employees.

FIG organizes contests with fashion students from Marie-Victorin College. Students are asked to create new designs with FIG’s leftover fabrics. This partnership allows us to give students a unique work experience, and give our fabrics new purpose. The FAN and SHE dresses are a result of this partnership. They was designed by fashion students, Laura Vouligny-Prévost and Karine Laperrière, in partnership with FIG’s design team.
