Substainability
Sustainability begins at the design and product development stage. We recognize that the impacts of fast fashion on human, social, and environmental levels affect us all. As a brand, we are committed to creating quality, versatile, and timeless apparel. Thoughtful design, well-crafted details, and premium fabrics define our approach. We believe in a “less is more” philosophy when it comes to your wardrobe.
Sustainable Materials
We work closely with carefully selected fabric and garment manufacturers committed to providing sustainable textile solutions. In 2016, we made a commitment to source and develop fabrics that reduce our carbon footprint and offer eco-friendly alternatives to conventional textiles.
Since then, we have created our Möbius™ line of fabrics, made with recycled polyester from post-consumer plastic bottles—a more sustainable choice than traditional polyester. We also collaborate with Lenzing, a leader in plant-based fiber innovation, using TENCEL™ Lyocell, TENCEL™ Modal, and EcoVero™ as eco-friendly alternatives to lyocell, rayon, and modal. Widely featured in our collections, these natural-based fibers not only help lower our carbon footprint but are also ultra-soft, breathable, and moisture-controlling.
Organic cotton has become a key part of our collections, and we are actively working with our supply chain to ensure that all of our cotton fibers are 100% organic in the near future. Additionally, we have incorporated recycled nylon into our designs, offering a more sustainable alternative to conventional nylon, a fiber known for its strength and durability.
Our ultimate goal is to minimize our environmental impact while providing quality, versatile and durable Travel Everyday clothing.
Forever Chemicals
Traditional durable water repellents (DWRs) use long-chain C8 PFCs (perfluorocarbons), commonly known as “forever chemicals”, which studies show could have long-term impacts on humans, wildlife, and the environment. While completely eco-friendly alternatives are not yet available, we’ve chosen a more sustainable option.
In 2017, we transitioned to C6 short-chain PFCs, which break down faster in the environment and are considered less harmful. While this is currently the best available alternative, we continue to explore new solutions to phase out PFC-based finishes in favor of more natural, environmentally neutral options
We Never Waste Unsold Items
Rest assured that unsold, slightly defective garments, and samples are handled in alignment with our environmental and social values. Instead of discarding them, we donate unsold products to nonprofit charitable organizations like Le Chaînon to support those in need.
Green Mobility
To promote sustainable commuting, we provide the monthly public transit STM pass to our employees, encouraging them to choose greener transportation alternatives. As a result, most of our team opts to walk, bike, or take public transit for their daily commute.
